Perfect for a White Christmas wedding–this wreath and the tutorial on how to make your own is courtesy of the amazing Kristen over at her Domestifluff blog. The detailed instructions and pictures are easy to follow. I made a cute pink one for my daughter just to test it out! (Picture to follow…)

So you want a black and white wedding? This is a great choice for brides with a classic style who want clean, simple lines and details. There’s no fru-fru, no frills no mood lights. This is the classic black tie affair and for this bride it’s all about elegance. The images above are all from Wonderful Graffiti Wedding which produces amazing monogram and customized wedding accessories to really make the wedding your own. From vinyls that rub onto walls, floors and doors, stretch your imagination and carry your monograms onto your stationary, favors and other decor. Shown above are gorgeous banner stands in black and white with your monogram, perfect for an outdoor reception or leading up to your ceremony location. Five banners and stands as shown above are $395 or purchase individually for $95.
My other favorite is the corset tied votive candle. This gorgeous wrap is available on its own for $29 for a set of 12 or sold as a set with the votive holder for $72 for a set of 12. Carry on the theme with beautiful programs for the ceremony –personalized with your monogram. These fabulous table numbers on the right are another way to add that special touch because you won’t need to
use generic table numbers from your caterer or banquet facility.
Your attire can reflect the drama of the evening as well. Have your ladies decked out in black satin or form-fitting taffeta while the gents are head-to-toe black and white. Take it a step further and have all your guests show up in black and white (the women should not, however, show up in all white!).
It doesn’t all need to be about color. Black and white events evoke a different era of elegant ballrooms, fine dining, martinis and the Rat Pack. Work with your bartender to create a signature drink for each of these fabulous crooners. Have pictures up of each of the members (in black and white, of course) around the cocktail location as their music wafts through the room. For outdoor receptions, designate an area for cigars with comfortable seating and plenty of brandy.
